On my hot rod deluxe if the master volume is not working and I am only using the regular volume knob which works fine(it raises and lowers the volume pretty evenly all the way up and down)am I hurting anything and am I missing out on any tones that could be had by mixing the 2 up?Thanks.

What if the tones are still pretty good?

Well it looks like it is NOT a master volume amp.I looked at the instructions(go figure)The volume knob only controls the clean channel and the master volume only controls the 2 drive channels in conjunction with the drive knob.I knew the tone was good and I liked it.Happy camper here!!!.:banana

Right, in the link I sent you above it makes it clear tha the MV only impacts the drive channel, it controls how loud the amp is on the drive channel. if you are happy with it, it may not be worth fixing to you.
