1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Anyone on TGP driving a Matchless w/ a guitar equipped with Bardens? How do the get along? My recollection of the original Bardens is that they were pretty bright; I'm wondering if bright pickups plus bright amp is a good idea. Any thoughts?

My Barden equipped Zion sounded great into the Cheiftain I used to own.. I dont find Bardens bright.. kinda meaty comapared to a regular single coil.. I love them! My Zion is a ssh config and the neck tone is one of the best strat neck tones I have come across. Love the Humbucker too

I've got a humbucker I'd like to install in something, but getting another to match is enough of an investment that I want a bit of encouragement first. Nice to hear you find the Bardens dark and meaty - definitely a direction I'd like to move in. Anybody else?

The guy at Guitar Exchange has a woody for your Matchless. He says that Bardens will be no good and that you must sell to him.

Perhaps I should go down and "cut myself a deal?"
