Link doesn't work for me, and this whole Paterno/PSU thing has been discussed on TGP before, and I'm not aware of any new information that imo changes anything nor should change decisions that have already been made.

Never should've stripped his wins, never should've taken down the statue.

As long as the statue has it's back turned towards all the kids he turn his back on, I'm fine with it.

Poor old Joe is clearly the one who has been victimized.

    Sheesh.

    Wouldn't surprise me.

Try to find the logic in this...

Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist, is invited everywhere and even invited to play in The Hangover. The same gang afterwards reals in disgust when Mel Gibson says stuff and want him banished.

So the media finds saying crap when drunk to be worse than raping a woman. Ok, there...

I've turned a blind eye on this topic, so it didn't really happen.

I've found over the last three years that it's nearly impossible to talk sensibly with most people about this subject because most are so convinced that the narrative the think they know is correct, that's it's a waste of time and effort to try to dissuade them from their willful ignorance. I'm convinced that Paterno did all he could do according to the law. Actually, the current NCAA guidelines instruct coaches to do exactly what he did.

He was a good man, and he invested heavily in PSU and the community. May God rest his soul.

He was the captain of the ship...his employee had been doing this for years. How does one contest that?

Poor Joe. It's important to remember that he was the real victim here.
