JM has one of his Steel String Slingers on his back line! Two-Rock, Marshall, and Bogner....

I didnt care for the song or his tone tonight. Tone was just overly....I dunno just cluttered sounding. He had all those killer amps and it would have sounded great to have heard his clean tone.....

its not my fav cut off thenew CD, but was good enough ... i was distracted by the effect and his hand waiving in time with the repeats ... for a moment i wondered if he was wearing one of those 'ring effects' where the hand motion actually interacts with the pedals .. but i think he was just puttin on a show ... robbie's dusie sounded good too, too bad he was underfeatured
i'd like to see him live if the venue is conducive to good sound and sight lines (i.e. not an arena)

i think he did a good job on that. It can't be easy to sing and play that tune at the same time. Lyrics are pretty damn good I think too.

Not everything needs to be an exercise in 'my guitar tone/playing is the greatest thing on earth'.

It's a cool tune, it's performed well under the circumstances (lord knows it takes me more than one tune to warm up at a gig) and playing/tone fit the tune.

He's doing a good job playing back to his core audience without alienating the new one IMO.

    *ahem*

Just where do ya think ya are?! ;)

Didn't care for that particular tune, nor most of his others (only say most cos I haven't heard them all...), but as 1after909 said, he surely can find his way around that six string.

Plus he does have, um, slightly more success in this industry than I...

I just watched the vid. Dug the tune, vibe, playing and singing. Steve J. is always enjoyable to watch - and listen to.

Lots of gear firepower in the backline.

It sure was a change from the usual trio presentation.

What's with the hand thing? Maybe he's developing a twitch.

Well said, I'm just glad we have him making good new music. I don't hear much else on the radio that interests me anymore.
