John, please get back to the PRS 594 Super Eagle. Treble is too tinny, bass strings are flabby and he definitely is fighting the guitar.

I'm here - great set, plus Wolf. But it looks like someone changed out the tailpiece*.

[* EDIT (the next day): I have since been able to watch some of the Nugs stream and note that the tailpiece seems like the old one from these images ... it looked shinier and bulkier last night on the screens at Citi Field]

@Jon Silberman - do you know who Wolf ended up with after the auction?

That's awesome. It seemed he might be a little bit unfamiliar with the guitar (kept looking down), but his playing was fantastic, and the tone was great. D&C rocks!

Isn’t that guitar in Jim Irsay’s collection?

Sounds like Wolf might have inspired him a bit...

End of Morning Few was stupid good. Great tone, and moving from Jerry into his own blues thing back into Jerry was just right.

Man I disagree - he sounds pretty good to my ears - and as @terickson noted - it sure sounds like he's inspired. His playing is very Garcia inspired on this recording - it's pretty amazing.

Mayer's playing with JRAD is even better than with the Dead. A more jazzy feel.
