Beautiful. I love Terry's bursts. soft and gradual. Alas, I my Carolina is lemon drop (if that is the proper name). but she is going nowhere for a long time.

Nice to see the low serial number Taurus guitars! That was a fun time for me.
Audley Freed owns #2, and Jimmy Page owns #3.
    Here's a crude old pic of Jimmy's..

I really would love to find my old Taurus . . it's been passed around a bit, and has it's share of nitro checking and dings. It's a cherry burst type finish and had a LP pickguard installed. Anyone seen her ?

New (to me) Empress. It has a bellycut and Terry has confirmed it is solid, which is amazing because it's not heavy at all! I also love the way the inlays are blue-ish to match the finish and of course the matching headstock is a must.

Boy, could I post some pics!! LOL Two of my old ones are in Mainsale's post at the bottom of page one, and I miss that 3 P-90 Royal especially.
    :jo

Here are two that are currently getting most of the play time. And under that, 13 that got away.

Terry made me this empress back in the 90's. I ordered it thru Eddie Berman at Indoor Storm but I worked with Terry on it. I was in a "blonde" phase at the time. I asked if he could do me a zebra bridge pickup and he did. I've never seen another zebra on a zodiac. He also threw in a matching headstock as a surprise "gift". Terry, I know you're out there, you are an exceptional human being!

I have small hands, and my natural "tone" is kind of bright in the first place. My rig at the time just couldn't fatten this guitar up enough so I sold it. I wish I knew as much about pickups and amps then as I do now! I've kicked myself ever since, it's the only guitar I ever actually had specially made. :( I don't even know the serial number. (If anyone sees her walking at the side of the road, let me know). Sorry for the weak pix, they are scans.

Here's the current Glory Standard. I've been thinking about letting it go, I rotate guitars a lot, but after reading this thread I don't think I can do it! She's a keeper.
