Bob is a great guy and makes a fine amp for sure, glad to hear more noise about him and his amps. I had the priviledge to test drive his EL-34 Jester aka Ampzilla, and it is a beast of an amp. We did some sound clips an I know one of them is on his website. Mrs. Bob is badass with the tolex fo sho!!

I have the Reinhardt Jester HG (high gain), and it's a butt kickin' amp for sure. It does everything from Sam and Dave all the way up to Whitesnake.

The amps vital statistics are:

*50 watt, EL34's

*Tube rectified (GZ34)

*3x12ax7's

*footsitchable gain from basic hotrodded Marshall to insane. It also has trim pots for each level of gain.:Devil

*Missus Reinhardt, (Sue) even made the head box in purple with gold string trim.

I love my new amp! I took it to band practice last week and smoked a boosted JCM 800, 50 watter. It was proudest moment of my guitar playing existance.:D

Utterly gorgeous cleans!! I have yet to delve into the drive characteristics of this amp too deeply, but I am loving it thus far. M.E.

Mike,
Glad you're enjoying the amp!
Are you playing it with your new avatar cab?
Cheers

Hey Neil!
Cheers!!

I absolutely LOVE the amp!
I just received a Mullard GZ-34 Recto tube and I placed a Telefunken aX7 in place of the ecc81 that was in the PI position. I have just ordered a pair of ribbed plate Tele's for the other preamp positions.

Regarding the Avatar Premium w/ Blues..............
Fedex lost track of my package. ARRGH!!!!!
They did call me this morning and told me that they located it in Sacramento. I will be seeing it on Thursday. Not bad since I was told to expect it on 12/23!

I am so pleased with the amp! Thank you again for selling it to me for such a fair price! It was a pleasure meeting you.

I will post a report when I get the cabinet.
I have a rehearsal tomorrow afternoon with my ambient project, I am looking forward to letting this amp breathe a bit! M.E.

So you're saying that this is a fantastic alternative to the normal Marshall?

Per the recent 'Why shouldn't I buy a Marshall RI?'

Looks like some of them are set up for different channels, and an added boost?
