Me attempting to play slide

    I found this clip I made a while back. I don't play side too much (which will be evident after you listen to this...), but I thought I'd share it with you anyway.

    Near as I can remember, both rhythm and lead tracks were done with a Danelectro U2 reissue. I have no idea what amp I was using, or whether any pedals were harmed in the making of this clip. As usual, it was one take each for rhythm and lead, clams included no extra charge...

    Sweet Home Chicago (alternate title: Da Bears give me Da Blues)

    Very nice. I've recently been into slide. I especially liked the quieter section in the middle. Tasty licks, to be sure.

    I really like open D; what are you using for this one?
