Med friction pot recommendation please

I got a low friction EVH pot. Not enough friction for my taste. Replaced with a Fender pot Too much friction!!
So i am looking for some 500k pots than have some friction.. Not too much.
CTS audio taper (log) 500k ?

what we did in the Mesolithic era was to add felt washers under the knob.. by adding or reducing and the pressure ya apply by pressing the knob on, you could regulate to exactly the right amount of resistance required to turn the knob..

RS Superpots. Perfect taper, perfect amount of friction.

Take that high friction pot and drip one very small drop of naphtha into it. Rotate it a couple times and it will start to loosen up.
