I have the regular EHX Memory Boy, not the deluxe, but I still want the tap tempo function. I would've gone for the deluxe but I don't have enough room on my board. Any solutions?

I don't think the normal Memory Boy has that option.

You might have to get the deluxe and make room for it.

a buddy's got one. he uses a external tap tempo box in the expression pedal jack to use it as a tap tempo. i don't know from experience. he said he does though. try it. much cheaper than replacing the pedal. unless you're looking for an excuse to upgrade. that's cool too.

The memory boy is not tap tempo capable. This won't work.

make room for a deluxe, it's a great pedal and definitely a step up from the regular "boy".

Totally agree. The Deluxe Memory Boy is a fantastic analog delay! I had to get one when my board was stolen from the van in San Francisco last year. I needed a delay with a good tap since so many of them have just HORRIBLE ways of interpreting your taps. Not only was the tap great but the delay sounds super-bucket-brigade-juicy. This is a classic pedal.
