Couldn't find a post on this.

So it looks as though EHX will be releasing more of these at the end of the year.

Hopefully I can still get one and am not shooting myself in the foot by sharing here, haha.

There's been a few comments on threads here that there's another "final" shipment of 1100s coming in December. Some of the retailers have told TGPers that they'll have stock.

It was to inform of a price drop on their most popular delays and they just kind of slipped that in.

I bought one new in the Spring when they released a batch. I liked it a lot, but found myself not needing that long of a delay, so I traded it recently for a Captain Coconut 2, which I love.

If I can find one for a decent price in December, I may pick another one up to hold on to.

Don't hold your breath... we are also waiting for those new Chinese 3005 chips, they keep getting "delayed" ;)

The new DMMTT1100 pedals will certainly use them, probably the normal XO and 550TT also, as the prices on all EHX "memory" delays were just lowered a crazy amount. And we still have not confirmed the new chips will sound and work as good as the old Panasonics, which EHX has been using in the DMM, DMMXO, TT550, and TT1100 so far.

$378 upon first release. I think they were testing the waters. It was increased by the end of 2011 if I'm not mistaken.

A good day to buy a EHX Memory Man or Memory Boy pedal. I see that Analogman and many other dealers are selling all the EHX memory pedals at much lower prices: Memory Boy, Memory Man TT 550 38% lower, XO Memory Man 31% lower.

I wonder what happened to cause the sudden price reduction by such a large amount.

I saw that Chinese BBD chips are on the horizon. Still seems surprising that a TT 550 with Panasonic chips would drop down to $250 from $400. And a XO DMM down to $221. Maybe everybody who wanted a Deluxe Memory Man already got one. Everybody else is only going to buy inexpensive digital delay pedals which sound good enough.

it makes sense actually, seeing as Panasonic MN3005 chips are worth $50-60 each now. replace those with cheap $5 chips and you could shave $200 off a TT1100.

There may still be a different resale value between original "Panasonic chip" and "Chinese chip" models unless the Chinese chip is indistinguishable, hard to say until they hit the market.

I was reading on DIYstomboxes that Small Bear had had these tested and was happy with them (the Xvive chips) although there was very little detail. Also, everyone in the world seems to be waiting on delivery for them, including Small Bear. Not sure how to feel about this, the new day of analog delays or the end of everything?
