I received my The King last week...awesome pedal...I've owned a bunch of different KOTB/WMB's over the years and this is my favorite...tons of tones in that tiny box...Excellent work on the design & execution...

Well, I'll be the first one to say...ehh, although I loved the first version "King of the Britt's", this one left me short of really feeling inspired. Nothing impressive or inspirational. Just my opinion.

    Anybody with me?

Here's a gut shot. internal Trim pot and switch let you tailor the EQ for 60s, 70s, or modern styles.

Well I said I have one on order, so I disagree with you. This thread is in the Builder Forum, the thread was started by the builder of the pedal. No need for you to "give your opinion" and piss on his thread. Just my opinion......

Very cool about the trim pot...I hadn't even noticed that on mine(saw the little switch)...killer pedal...

UPDATE: messed with the trim pot & mode switch...tons of killer sounds...super deep pedal...really diggin' more and more as I play with it in my rig...

I've tried pretty much all the popular ones out there...here's some of the ones I really liked(won't get into the ones I didn't like)...

JETTER PURPLE-old school, thick midrange, low compression, tight low end...
    KEELER PUSH-has a JCM800/Jubilee vibe to it...
ROTHWELL HELLBENDER-great Plexi style...tight low end
LUMPY'S LIQUID LEAD/ABILON(full tone stack version)-super versatile, old school...
    MENATONE 7K KOTB-Awesome, super versatile
    MENATONE 8K WMB-great JTM45/BASSMAN style

THE KING-is a nice blend of the KOTB/WMB...all 3 are super amp like and versatile...

Looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks! I have the last version of the KOTB and am anxious to see how they compare.
