I recently bought a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 - one of the older models without the graphic EQ. I think it sounds flippant awesome but unfortunately it's 110v. I heard that there's some way to change this to 240v without necessarily having to replace the output transformer. Is this true? Is that the case with this model, too, or just other models?
I'm happy to continue to use the step-down transformer for the time being but ultimately, long term at least, I would like to convert the sucker into 240v for ease of use.
