I have a Mesa F-50 head that I am currently using with a 2x12 cab. It sounds great but I wonder from time to time if something else could be versatile. I play in a cover band doing all types of music from Rolling Stones to Pantera. I play in small to medium sized clubs with the cab miced. Any opinions?

So you suggest I try getting a tremoverb? How are the two amps different. I was about to go ahead and try to get one but I just read a post saying the overdrive in these two amps are about the same.

you did not have Mark IV as an option, which I have and a lot of people never figure out how to get the great tone from it.

your talking two totally different amps, F-50 very limited in what it does, 50 watts two channels limited capabilities, 2 6L6 tubes,

Tremoverb, dual rectifier reverb, tremolo, 100 watts, the blues position on the clean is sweet. runs 6L6 or EL-34s

    really no comparison
