I've been a lurker for a while, but this is my first real post! I thought some of you guys might appreciate this Custom Head Cabinet for my Mesa Boogie Mark IV.
I had this head made to convert a combo into a head shell unit. It is custom made by JAG Fine Wood Creations in Southeastern Connecticut. I gave the woodworker a creative license to really do whatever he wanted, and he made a masterpiece! The head is made of solid figured maple and cherry. The Boogie logo is a burn-in on a piece of figured maple.
I used flash on some of the photos to better capture the figuring; the "angle-dependent" effect is much more pronounced in person. Let me know what you think, and enjoy the gallery!
