2 Fats? 2 Crunches? Why?

Because people keep complaining about not being able to footswitch between certain modes since they are on the same channel. As you can see below, we are 3 posts into this thread, no sound clips of the amp have been released, and already someone is saying a certain mode should be on a different channel.

I would love it if my Mark V had those on separate foot switchable channels. IMHO, those are the top 2 sounds out of mine. FWIW, IMHO, they put the Mark VII on the wrong channel though, it should go on 3.

Proof that you can’t please everyone. Maybe you can get a nice clean out of IIB or set it up with a rhythm and lead tone.

I’m curious if MIDI also allows you to select a mode. Though I feel like if it did, it would have been in the copy that Stephen pasted above.

I have known about the amp since November. I just didn't post anything on this forum till today. The rest of the information I believe is coming tomorrow. There is no link or anything else I have seen.
Personally I'm looking forward to checking it out. I like all the Mesa Mark amps.

REEEEEALLY curious how good/accurate that IIB mode is.
That arrangement of the modes makes sense to me; having VII and IIB on separate channels means you can have a Clean (or FAT), Crunch and IIB config, instead of having to choose between Crunch or IIB on channel 2.
Looking forward to some demos, but man, $3700 is getting up there.

Looks like Tuesday is maybe the day? There's been a Mesa Mark countdown on their Instagram page.

What is ‘infamous’ about IIb tone?

Other than it not being IIc+?

Also, I assume Clean, Fat, Crunch, IV are all identical to their respective modes from the Mark V?
