Mesa Single rectifier - reverb poor

Hi Everyone,
My first connection with the Gear Page so be forgiving please as I am uncertain of the etiquette. My issue is with the Single rectifier from Mesa - I have the 50 watt combo and the reverb is poor to say the least and only on one channel (by design).
Does anyone else suffer with this and are there any known mods to 'rectify' the problem short of rebuilding the amp! I can use a soldering iron and know my way around schematics but am short of ideas. I think the weakness is an inherent design flaw - am I right.
I would be grateful for your considered opinions
best regards
John

He probably means a 'Rectoverb" combo.

I don't know of any mods for that circuit, but if we narrow down the model, there might be a way to get a better reverb.

Ive owned about 5 mesa's over the years .. none of them had reverb that I thought was relative to the tone. But, Ive always used
a TCElectronic G-Major in the effects loop, so, the only time it became a problem was when I just wanted to grab an amp and run.
