How can I tell my amps year of build...I looked everywhere the naked eye can detect without disassembling the amp...I thought i'd see it on the chassie but can find anything but the serial number...4 digit number 102_ not sure if any of these numbers help though, as the amp was made from 2011-2015 and the missing digit isn't any of those years either....anyone check their TA-30 and know....cheeers

When I got my Mark V,I called Mesa to see how much warranty was left on it.
The number I gave him over the phone was not the serial number.
He told me where I would find it and I did.
No need to remove chassis for me.
Give them a ring and they'll tell you where you'll find it.
Mesa is great on customer service.

Thanks....I found it immediately on my Express 5:50 plus and I know my TC-50 is a year old as well as the Express , but this TA-30 dumbfounded me....cheers, I will call them with the serial number

That's a nice trio of Mesas.
I briefly tried a 5.50 Express + and really liked the cleans.
I've been watching for a used one to come up.
The only downside I see is that it weighs 54 lbs.
Which one of your three is your favourite?

They all are great amps.....aside from having to keep the reverb less then halfway because its noiser then the other 2 with the TA-30, its a great Classic Rock amp, and according to Andy Timmons sounds a lot like a AC=30.....it really is a versatile amp.....I love the 2 different eq's on the Express plus, and both the clean and overdrive are great (the clean is a similar circuit as the Lonestar on the Express plus model, sounds amazing.....overdrive is really good too....I think my fav is the TC50 though, as its a monster and midi too (works excellent with my Fractal FX-8....love em all though, cheers
