Mesa triple rec tube advice

Any ideas on what tubes may sound the best for metal core in a triple rec? Never changed the tubes so Im not sure what would be the best for what we are trying to do. We have heavy breakdowns but a lot of lead harmonies. Thanks!!

Just get the Mesa branded tubes. They are cheap and easily available.

I switch back and forth between 6L6s and EL34s in my Roadster (MAKE SURE YOUR REC CAN TAKE EL34s FIRST!). The 6L6s have a tighter bass response but the EL34s have have more presence and punch.
