Mesa Tubes glowing blue

    Bought a Fender 60w amp recently with a pair of Mesa 6L6 tubes in the power stage. When operational they glow blue. The amp sounds excellent and is showing no classic signs of tube issues. I have read both that glowing blue tube means replace and as well that it is comman for a new Mesa tube to glow blue when its running. Any comments or advice would be recommended. They sure do look cool......Ray

    blue is good. red is bad.

    What do you mean? In the winter time, I turn my amps around backwards and sit in front of them with someone special sipping hot spiced cider. :confused:
