    Hi guys,

Does anyone know who makes those metal back plates for Hamer for their USA guitars? (I guess they make actually make them themselves!)

I would like to get some plates made for the pots cavities and toggle switch cavities for a few of my guitars and didn't know if some of you might know someone (or some company) that makes custom back plates out of metal...any help or links???:dunno

Any sheet metal fabricator, although you'll pay thru the nose for one off stuff.

This subject comes up at the HFC occasionally. I can't verify (because I haven't checked, or needed to) but word is that Hamer still makes and supplies these parts upon request. I don't think the sizes have changed. I've been wrong before.

Well, I probably need to clarify what I'm after...I need metal backplates for a couple of Les Paul guitars, not Hamer guitars...so will they cut me some to fit these LP style guitars? That, my friends, is the question!

Hamer doesn't actually cut those plates in house. I doubt they would be able to provide anything for a Les Paul.

Dave at fretsonthenet will cut you anything you want, provided you can send him a tracing.
