    This is my first clip, so any feedback at all would be much appreciated. It's a 1:30 test of the new MI Audio Tubezone over the Herringbone backing - heres the setup;

    Thanks to whoever posted the backing - great fun. Definitely a sweet pedal, and even makes a superhack like me sound better :)

    Heres the link (1.3 mb) http://www.filegone.com/7e3o

    What else can it do? I'm interested in a pedal to get heavy sounds out of a clean/overdriven tube amp and this pedal has been suggested more than once.

    What kind of guitar is that? I thought it was PRS at first, but now I'm wondering if it's something else...

    Hi Phil,
    The guitar is a Charles Cilia Custom, made here in Australia. Weighs about 7 pounds, super thin nitro, coil taps etc. I did have a PRS but this guitars articulation and 'feel' made it redundant, so the PRS went :AOK

    I might try and record some rhythms a bit later on today. That clip was all controls set to noon, first take. It has a lot of controls, and a bajillion tones in there, so I'll have an experiment. Sadly, the pro tools mp3 conversion seemed to steal a lot of the sparkle :(

    Thanks for listening :)
    Simon.

    Nicely done. Guess it's not just another pretty face.

    Where'd you get that backing track?

    Thx

    How about a rough idea of the settings on the Tube Zone and what not? Brightness, tone, drive, mids etc etc.

    Thanks. :)

    John - thanks! Your clips are totally killing - great inspiration for me. I'll try and get one with my strat up soon. :)

    Raj - All controls set to noon on that clip. It can get a lot more vicious and metallic, or fat and fuzzy as well depending how you use the 'character' and other controls. It also has an absolute ton of gain available in the last quarter of the gain knob. :RoCkIn

    Sid - should work fine. You have to download the file once the page happens - its pretty small.

    Thanks for listening everyone,

    Simon
