Here's a pic of my micro rig. I could have bought the ~6 inch speaker from Hotone, but I picked up an 8 inch Randall instead for the same price. Whacha think? I just moved it back into my bedroom studio so I might do a clip.... Rig is Hofner with Minis, Flyrig5, Purple Wind, and the Randall speaker. I think it's pretty cool. With the Hotone speaker it's even less to haul....5 whole watts!!!

I love it, but I use the SansAmp section, I can get enough gain for me that way. When my Marshall using buddy comes over we use the Plexi. You just have to grasp the fact that Plexis are inherently noisy.....Most guys who don't like it, wouldn't like a real Plexi either. IMO, of course.

With the purple cover your Hotone amp is of a newer vintage from mine, does your amp have a noticable hum at idle with the volume / gain up a bit?

I so want to love my little hotone amps, heck I even want to like em... But the hum mine put out is a deal breaker. Hoping to hear they corrected that issue.
