Microlux Amp is a professional 2017 implementation of the legendary 1965 F-r Deluxe Reverb Combo in a small sized 2-watt package for home practicing. This all-tube amp's got all the goodness and spirit of a power tube break-up that the original model has, but on the volume levels much more comfortable for your bedroom playing. And without a single doubt, the most beautiful in the world, firm clean tones that can only be found in true F-r amps, are also there in our Microlux Amp.

Result of a 5 year research, Microlux amp is very authentic to the original pre-CBS BFDR design. Even though it uses a different tube (6922 / E88CC double triode) in the power stage to achieve about 2 watts of power, we managed to find a way to make this little tube perform following the same and similar laws as a real 6V6GT performs in a Deluxe Reverb. This required both following the original schematics and innovating at the same time, and careful recalculation. But all in all as close to the original schematics as clearly possible.

Microlux is basically a Normal channel of a DR, so it has Volume, Treble and Bass controls, and that's all, the Vibrato channel is thoughtfully omitted. The amp has an additional switch called "Pad" which attenuates or otherwise boosts the signal from the preamp. This allows to break up sooner like a Deluxe, or enjoy smoother Super- or Twin- Reverb-like tones when you want them.

And those are really convincing sounds in our opinion. Check this out.

    SOUNDS SAMPLE:

( Recording chain is as follows: 1xSM57 -> ART Pro Channel "Pro Studio" Mod -> ESI Julia - so very humble. Unfortunately we have encountered a number of limiting factors while recording samples, such as a slightly damaged mic and others, but please do try to love that sample, because the amp's tone is beautiful in our opinion. We hope you'll notice. )

    ABOUT THE COMPANY:

We're a guitar amplifiers developer based in St. Petersburg, Russia. We're called Morning Blessing Amps not for no reason. Imagine the romantics of a grill cloth of a fine tube amp in the morning light. Our amps are designed and made to deliver that special feel into our lives.

Our technical experience and absolute hearing ability as well as a long term affiliation with quality and thousands hours of research have allowed us to come up with both musically and technically right amplifier design, unveiling many of the secrets left by original developers from 50-60s, such as C. L. F-r and his crew, and thus inheriting the old-school design methods.

At Morning Blessing we strive to make someone happy so he can fully switch to music. To make it possible a perfectly complete result is required, which could actually take some time to figure out, which is what we are committed to do on every day basis. We would like to earn your trust to the new Morning Blessing brand.

"You won't part with yours either" was very true.

It should be noted to avoid any confusion that the name "Morning Blessing" was not intended to have a religious context, although believers will probably not have any problem performing with our amps as well.

    SPECIAL NOTE:

As we're just starting up, the Microlux Amp is being produced by completely 90% reworking a Yerasov Gavrosh-8 - an amp another Russian company builds. This allows us to keep our price low, while offering everything needed to fully and uncompromisingly grasp the tone of a 1965 Blackface Deluxe Reverb at the world's most affordable price. Of course we'll soon convert to our own manufacturing. Jump on this limited offer, you'll be a proud owner of an exclusive one-of-a-kind thing from mother Russia!

    FINALLY:

We're not offering the Microlux Amp for sale outside of Russia yet, although this will become possible in the nearest future, so do contact us if you want one. But we would definitely LOVE any kind of discussion you might want, be it a positive comment or any possible criticism. Feel free to post. Your opinion is very important to us and to me personally, as I know I have a lot of friends here on TGP.

Thanks for your attention, interest and time.

    Sincerely yours,
    Morning Blessing Amps.

The amp and the company wasn't perceived really well in Russia. Although we got 10k views and been a number 1 thread for almost a whole month, it was mostly or mostly to completely hate. Literally there wasn't one positive comment except from our first client, who commented he is totally happy with the amp. Although for some reason nobody commented negatively on the tone itself, it was all kinds of criticism and advises on how we should run a business, hate, jokes, lols, smiles and so on. The price was only $389 in Russia, it also got all kinds of hating comments. My mother dared to hit "like" in our social page, this got many weird fantasies going on there. Hope you get the picture.

Even so, I haven't lost my optimism. I felt totally broken for a couple of days, but quite managed with it. Even if we fail in Russia, we will build next amp with a 120V transformer and I'm sure somebody in his right mind (and number of good men in the US is great) will pick it up, because the price will be right and it's a quality amp, in my opinion.

Looking forward to posting in the commercial emporium here on TGP.

Our recorded tone is unfortunately much different from the real life one. That said, turning on the ART Pro Channel takes away half of the goodness, this is especially painful in our well-designed output stage, thus we never had a chance to really show off what we do.
For the purpose of making later samples, the minimum of the ART Pro Channel was used, pulling off 2 of the 3 tubes. This and our mods to it allowed a better transmission of the original real life amp voice. Not perfect, but a little better.
