I've decided the Duncan Lil '59 on my tele has to be going microphonic as it squeels at lower gain/volumes than my other guitars or the neck pickup. Is the Lil '59 easy/worth potting or should I just replace it?

    Thanks,

I did it with a homemade double boiler and it worked great. I used 80% canning wax and 20% beeswax like both site suggest on a covered humbucker and it cured it. Btw, I had no idea where to find beeswax and finally found it at a Sally beauty supply-people use it on hair. It feels really nasty-like an oil slick, so definitely don't use it straight-it will turn to a greasy mess.
