Migs either come with those little round knobs or the chicken heads. I had a Mig 60 with chicken heads and was always told that there was no difference between the two other than the knobs. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

The biggest difference I've found is that round knobs are circular while chicken heads have a pointy end and a flat one.

    :agree

I've found that the chicken heads are sharper and have more cut, while the other knobs are more rounded and don't hurt my ears as much.

Nice. I expected those answers. I am firm believer though that all amps sound better with chicken heads! That is why if I get this one then I am picking some up for it.

The reason I asked though was because some models of the Mig 50's had better components than others (metal jacks vs. plastic, etc...) and I have never heard of this being an issue with the Mig 60's.
