I'm guessing not many here realize how many boutique pedals there are out there that don't have many human hands touching them except to put them in a box.

Both were involved in the business. Again, why so callous? Why would you defend one builder attacking another for no reason? I guess whatever helps you sleep at night.

Both were building pedals. And his wife had been fighting cancer for years. Many surgeries, chemo, etc. Seriously you're just looking to find reasons to be a jerk here.

Well, he did address it. That’s literally what the prince of tone is. But enough people want a hand built version from his original shop that the two year waitlist remains.

I’ve talked to him briefly and he honestly thought the waitlist would go down to virtually nothing once the PoT was released. He figured a few people would be willing to pay extra for the KoT, but he didn’t think people would actually still wait for it when the PoT existed.

Knowing that one needs to hire help is one thing, and perhaps recognizable even by outsiders. Knowing what reasons might make that a difficult, poor, or unworkable idea is another matter entirely.

People like you need to understand that you know much, much less than you think you do.

It won't stop the verbal diarrhea on the internet. Everyone's an armchair expert at running a business, building amps, pedals, guitars, you name it!

Plus the whole reason the KoT is valued so much is because it’s built by hand in a small shop and not insanely expensive. If he “expanded” his shop dramatically, at some point it’s not any different from what the prince of tone is.

His business functions the way he wants it to. More employees means more overhead, more insurance, blah blah blah. Then the price goes up and you’ll bitch about that too.

If he doesn’t want to take that on who gives a ****?

I will say that giving people an open-ended timeframe to order when their name comes up is silly. That probably doesn’t help much.

Why are we giving Fuller the satisfaction of being discussed?
