Anyone have the episode with MIles? I remember it was in 1981 during his "comeback", and they did Jean Pierre- don't remember the performance too well, or whether Stern did any soloing.
Can't find it on any video channels.

    Anyone go this?
    How would you rate it?

I remember it very well. Mike Stern just burned.

I saw that when it aired. George Kennedy was the host.

Miles was not in consistently good shape in those days, but it was always great to see him playing. I seem to recall that being kind of a weird performance from the Miles angle. Stern got a lot of room but I never dug Stern in that band.

I saw that. I was into Kiss at the time. I'll never forget when Stern ripped into his solo, it changed my life. I wish it was on youtube.

I was just happy to see Miles being exposed yet to another generation. Stern kicked butt from what I remember.
