Some mini modeler like PocketPod or a Pandora or other palm sized device, that can be Powered by USB and work as an audio interface to something like reaper. Does it exist?

Basically I want to sit on the couch with my laptop beside me and record with a set of headphones on. I hardly care what it sounds like, so modeling quality is the lowest of my concerns.

    MOTU MicroBook. I love mine!

Note. It is not a modeller. You could pair it with some software to cover that (GuitarRig 5, Revalver, etc)

Otherwise, Zoom G3? Not quite pocketpod size but still

Take a look at the Boss MICRO BR - BR-80.
I've never used one, but it seems to have what you are looking for.

Zoom G3. Works like a charm as modeler and interface and sounds great.

Can the G3 be powered by USB?

Edit: I found it it can. Looks like a little big but other than that, exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

If you really truly need that palm-sized form factor in an audio interface, I'd just go with an Apogee One and use a software modeler.

+1 for the BR-80, plus it has the bonus of being a portable multitrack and field recorder, a jam box for practicing and an MP3 player.
And you can use it for vocal effect too, with the harmonizer and pitch correction.

How about the L6 Guitar Port?

    Boss Micro BR 80.
Maybe the best "idea-catcher-phrase-training-multitracking-audio-interface" that will fit in your guitar case.
