Mini volume pedal (with knob not foot pedal) question

    Can you use this without any tone loss when volume is not full ?
    By tone loss I mean dull sound due to impedance for example.

    These Classic Audio are also nice but more expensive. Boomerang also makes one that's bigger footprint
    Shouldn't be any tone loss if they're high impedence and early in the chain. I don't know if they make low impedence versions
    I'd like a low impedence stereo version for my effects loop

    EDIT: I just noticed Classic Audio now make an active version with buffers and tuner out (more expensive again, but nice)
    Also checked and their regular version is 25K
