If you could mix and match famous band members with others, what would you like to see?

Here are a couple to start:

- Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Willie Weeks and John Hiatt
-Tom Petty, Ryan Adams, Mike Campbell, Jim Keltner, Stevie Nicks, Ben Tench and Duck Dunn
-Gregg Almann, (if he stills sings well), Larry Campbell, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Steve Gorman, pick you bassist

Oh man, can't even tell you the number of times I've played this game on road trips with friends. It's been a while, but I think this was my last lineup

Voice: Freddie Mercury
Lead Guitar: Jimmy Page
Rhythm Guitar: David Crosby
Bass: Flea
Organ/keys: Billy Preston
Drums: Levon Helm

Of course, this lineup is a complete mess, but there are several legendary songwriters. And most of them can sing, too.

I would take:

The rhythm guitar player and singer from the plastic ono band
The bassist and singer from Wings
That dude who played the lead slide part on Badfinger's "Day after day"
And I guess ringo on drums.

Hmmmm...... so, this isn't as good a thread as I thought! I figured there would be hundreds of replies, like when someone starts a thread "who is the best guitarist, ever"
