The most requested feature for TGP has now been installed and ready to roll out to everyone.

    Context
The Gear Page no longer supports or will use Third Party apps for access due to a variety of performance and security issues. The Xenforo platform we use is device responsive; which means it automatically scales to whatever device and orientation (portrait vs. landscape) you prefer on any platform or hardware device. Use the browser of your choice.

    Member Requested Feature and Preferences
The request for a mobile friendly compact text and icon only driven theme has been heard and is now installed in both a light and dark variety depending on your personal preference.

Avatars On/Off and Horizontal/Vertical User Information
You can also - within your preferences under your Profile choose to have the member information horizontally or vertically laid out and/or turn avatars on or off. Your choice works universally across any of the TGP themes available.

    How to Choose Your Style
To change your theme you use the "style chooser" on the lower left corner of the forum. Click on whatever your current style is and it'll pop-up the style chooser and you can then choose whatever theme you prefer. That in addition to your preferences (avatars on/off and horizontal on/off) should give you whatever sort of user experience you choose.

    The Available Choices are now:
    TGP Classic - light (default)
    TGP Classic - dark
    TGP Mobile - light
    TGP Mobile - dark

I'm getting banner ads when I select the mobile theme on my iPhone. I am still logged in and when I switch to the normal view the banner ads go away.

I'll get IT to look into that ASAP.

We can look into that, but all you need do is move your finger up and down on the screen to scroll. ???

True, but it's a lot faster with the scroll arrows. I set my page view for 100 posts per page to minimize loading new pages. That makes mobile scrolling a pain on Android. IOS is easier.

I'm also getting banner ads...I thought certain membership levels didn't get the banners any longer - this is on my iPad only, but it tends to slow it down

Supporting members see no ads on any devices. Click on the upper left or in your profile under "account upgrades" for more information.

I don't mind banners but they don't resize. Every page looks like this on my iPhone 6.

Read the first post. You need to choose the mobile theme in the bottom left corner of any forum page.

I had the same issue with pages looking like stilwel's.

Without changing a thing, today, everything is now sized correctly on my iPhone .

    Sweet!

The style chooser seems to no longer be available.

I'm on an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.4 and browsing with Safari.

@aleclee the xpm custom icon for the site was lost in the upgrade. Xenforo overwrote it with the default.

Just double tap on the content and it'll resize.

Note I will be updating the ad code to resize automatically *very* soon. Extensive 'under the hood' to make that work but it is forthcoming.
