Modern Marshall Bluesbreaker v original - is there a big difference?

Greetings from a newbie, everybody!

I have one of the modern Marshall Bluesbreaker pedals, which I like very much. My question is this - is the original version of this pedal significantly different from the current ones? If so, what kind of tonal differences are there? I am thinking about buying one of the old ones (I don't have my sights set on a particular one at the moment), and wondered whether there would be a big enough difference in tone to justify the expense.

General concensus around here is that there is a big difference in tone quality between the 2, with the Original being the better model.
