Who do they make OEM cabinets for, and what are they like?
Which one have you got and what speakers did you put in it/

My Reeves Custom 50 Combo came in a Mojo shipping box, if that means anything. The cabinet is incredibly well constructed. If there is an earthquake, I'm gonna get next to the cabinet for safety...

+1. The list of companies they build for is ridiculous. I own 2 mojo 4x12 cabs (amongst other brands) and the mojos are some of the best you will ever have.

Great cabs. I've got a 2x12 loaded with Celestion Golds that I use with my Blankenship Variplex......love the tone and the cab is built like a tank.

The only cabs I use are mojo.
Never had any trouble with them.

Mojo made these for me a while ago, and they continue to serve me well...

Both cabs are customized Mojo Tweed Twin Low Power cabs. The one on the left has a 5E3 chassis
cutout and a 1x15 baffle. The right one has a Peavey Classic 20 chassis cutout, but uses the standard
    angled 2x12 baffle.

The Marshall style's are cool, but they are using Poplar birch instead of the Marine Grade Birch, they sound dead compared to real marine baltic birch.

I heard they made cabs for Avatar too...

But how on earth does Avatar sell loaded cabs for less than unloaded ones from Mojo?!

And yeah... what other companies to they make cabs for? Bogner? Germino?

Greg Germino has his made from a local Cabinet shop near him in North Carolina. Greg is real paticular about how they look and sound. He makes sure the cabs are done right using the best quality Birch and that they are period correct. Although sometime ago he did use Mojo for a brief period.

Not trying to start a pissing match here, but Mojo 4x12's are anything but dead sounding. I've owned 5 Mojo 4x12's over the years (the first one I bought from Nate who started Mojo) and all of them were anything but dead sounding. The last one sounded damn near identical to my bud's '74 Marshall straight-front.

The only folks that equal Mojo's quality is Marvics in Cali. (supplies Bogner, Diezel, etc.), but that guy refuses to do retail sales.

It's to each his own, they still sound good. just compared to my marshall cabs they were a little dead sounding. I am talking about new mojo's. They use to use baltic birch. now they use a poplar birch.

Nope sorry. Between mojo and another company (the name escapes me) on the west coast they do a majority of the boutique oem.

What's 'poplar birch' and 'marine grade birch' ? Baltic birch plywood should come from a Baltic state...like Finland. All the layers are birch and it's effectively void-free. Marine grade plywood is usually a good decent quality plywood product not made from either birch or poplar. Fir maybe...dunno. Iirc, the last piece I encountered was pretty heavy, not void-free, but good enough.
