Montreal assembly count to 5 vs 856 for zellersasn

    is the 856 like a super ct5? Is there anything the ct5 can do that the 856 can’t and vice versa? Or are they completely different animals?

    Pretty different really. The 856 doesn't do the "large moving window manipulated" thing the CT5 does, the CT5 doesn't do all the granular manipulation the 856 does. They're both really deep!

    For me, the 856 was a non-starter because of the lack of a wet/dry mix. YMMV.

    I got an 856 for Zellersasn when the new webshop first opened. It has taken me quite some time to get my head around it, but based on how it works, I've got one avenue that I think will REALLY work for me to build a sonic landscape or groove by tweaking knobs.

    These were captured live a little bit ago.

    Its one of the coolest pedals of all time. Its really more of an instrument though.
