I'm wondering the difference between this and the pure octave

Definitely not a clone in the literal sense of the word.

The tracking on their octave pedals has been less than stellar. It will be interesting to see if this is better.

I'm hoping the difference between this and the Pure Octave is that this one sounds good.

Well, it's called a " precise octave modulator", so they at least want us to believe that the tracking is good.
Then again, they didn't call it an "accurate octave modulator", so maybe the tracking is terrible, but equally terrible no matter what you play.

Yes. Along with the pitch box which is also bad.

Nothing compares to a Pog as far as REALLY polyphonic tracking goes.
Wonder how this crap company managed to nail it.
If so, I'm in it. But I'm not believer. I've tried them all. A few of them sounded quite decent so far. Ana Echo and Yellow Comp are ok but they're getting lonesome in an exhaustive catalogue. My share of the Mooer ride but my feeling is that it is a bedroom's treasure in a poor real player's thrash.
When I see all the **** done by Lovepedal and JHS' bashers, I'm not really boud to caution up the fight.

Could this be more of an Octron thing instead of a polyphonic/pog thing? 'Cause if it's an Octron thing, I'm in...

Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time with the descriptor "clone" when it comes to digital pedals.

I separated my volumn konb once. Still aches a little when it's going to rain.

I'll agree with this; utterly terrible. Interested to hear Mooer about this.

Any dealers that have it yet? I'll guinea pig it as I need the Pog in a tiny package.

I don't work for Mooer or have affiliation, but I think it really depends on the pedal that you have. The Skyverb for me is up there with any other digital reverb. It does a great job, no volume spike or loss and doesn't sound fake or with weird decay. They did a great job on that. I also really liked the Yellow Comp too when I had it. Some of the others though, are not that great.

I've been keeping an eye out for the Hotone Octa. Seems like it has the potential to be a tiny micro Pog beater.
Haven't had the chance to try one though.
