Well I have been afflicted with GAS thanks to this pedal for a long while now. Not having much luck with trades, so I'm about to man up and buy new, but over the past week or so I've been distracted by other 'similar level' phasers like the Whetstone and Infanem Faye Sing... Is there any others I should investigate first? Not so fussed on the Whetstone, but the Faye Sing is interesting.

I'd love to hear from people who have owned a couple of these and their experiences with them. People who just want to rave about the Moog are also welcome! I'd predominantly be using it for long, thick sweeps and then some fun ring mod/crazy fast speed stuff.

I'm a phaser junkie. Mu tron, ehx, mxr, etc etc. The moog is interesting. I'm still adjusting to its cycles. Lush, warm. Tons of fun. 6/12 stage is tricky to dial "normal" phase tones, so far with it. I haven't had mine too long. I run a subdecay quantum phaser along side the moog. All phase covered.

Thanks for the response :). How would you say it manages long sweeps? Nice and thick?

I used to have one about 5 years ago. Lots of great phaser tones available if you're willing to put in the time to tweak, tweak & tweak some more. It can do very long sweeps.
It is a very large pedal if you (or your neighbours) are space conscious and I recall that the bypass was kind of weird.
If you can get a good deal grab one, it is a killer phaser.

I have to say I just re bought the keeley phaser. The more I searched after that the I realized that it had everything I loved in a phaser. The only other one I wish I could have tried but couldn't really afford at this point was the empress, but it is pretty pricey and was afraid I'd get list in features instead of using it.

Hmm, thanks guys. So just how easy is it to dial in a slow sweep? If be using it for that about 70% of the time. I love tweaking at home, but is this easy to deal with live (if you put in some time to learn it obviously)?
