The VOS guitars impressed me so much that I had to have one. In the process I got an 05 R8 as well.

The Tea Burst is the 06/R8 9lbs 7oz
All stock and sounds killer. Very tight and clear.

    The GT is an 01 R7 8lbs 5oz
WCR Darkbursts. 2x4 for a neck. fat and thick sounding. Very smooth.

    Darkburst is an 05 R8 8lbs 7oz
Unpotted Burstbuckers. 59 neck carve (Wide Fat Feeling)
    Superb playability.

I was planning on keeping the nicer of the 2 R8s but it's like trying to pick a favorite kid. These VOS guitars not only have tone like no other guitars but now they play as good as any uber high end guitar. They are that good!

    Congrats. Those LPs look great.

Hi, my name is Mark and I am a Les Paul-aholic.

My VOS Oxblood makes it 8 LPs for me now. It's embarrassing. I tell myself and my wife that I can sell any of them if I want to. ...... really I can.

And it's a cloud 9 (chambered) weighing in around 7 pounds. Plays great and sounds good too.

    :D

I absolutely love that Iced Tea burst. Where did you get it from? Did you play it before you bought it?

That Ice Tea finish is the business!!! What's the neck like on those? Also, can you give me a general idea of what they go for new?

Very nice. I like the darkbust, but that is probably because I have a teaburst 58 already (form 1998).

Those are beautiful guitars. I just got a slightly used VOS ice tea R9 at a great price. I love the VOS finish and the guitar plays fantastic. I'm going to sell a couple of guitars to justify the price, but it will be well worth it.

I decided to take a look here on TGP for a minute before going out LP shopping... Trying to decide between an R8 and a GC60. You have some really nice LPs there.
