The icing on the cake... I mean the corn in the ****... Is the price.
Still not seeing it. Whatever IT is.
The string pull on the D and G must be outrageous......how can the thing stay in tune with any bending????......my guess is that it can't.
Well, at least there probably won't be any Chinese clones.......
I think I have a multiple personality disorder because in those pics it appears quite a bit more attractive and less obnoxious.
Change the positions of the knobs, put in a blade switch, alter the head stock to a 50's futura design, add another pickup......and Gibson is expecting you to pay 3-5 times more for this contraption?
Henry found Kisekae.
B-but the Futura's headstock matches the body, unlike the thread's original guitar.
I think its kinda cool. Shrug.
That sure is awful. Just awful. Pitiful even.
Cause in most of the pics you can't see the headstock...
I don't mind it.
Another exaggerated Gibson thread, yay...
I like it. Better than "Generic Old Ass Guitar Rehash/Reissue Part 256: The Revenge of the Fifty-Nine 3D Edition"
Gibson's finally realized that at one point they actually TRIED when it came to guitars rather than crapping out lame Paul after lame Paul. Yes, there's a reason that so many Pauls are built. There's also a reason I don't own any.
Welcome to 3 years ago....................
Do we all really live in a Cave?
oh, and look, I posted a picture
old news is old. haters will hate, but i like it. i can't afford it, but i like it.
It's not THAT bad...not to mention this has already been hashed over a long time ago. Wasn't this a GOTM?
It reminds me of a lot of Gibsons coming down the pike lately--Dark Fire, Dusk Tiger, the Eye SG--a lot of design elements that are perfectly fine. Compelling even. But end up all jumbled together without rhyme or reason. I'm sure they play and sound just great. But you look at them and say, "What the hell were they thinking?"
But it says "Gibson" on it. That's good enough for me!
It's really a good thing Gibson got it right in the early days.
