I just played it again at GC, awesome amp and this is coming form a Vox guy! lol loved the low and and the top end chime, took my SG and cranked it in the sound room it was really nice my vox has a tad more gain i would say. Im more into classic rock and hard rock to metal so with a pedal it would get you there. Im on a fence now I could recap my vox and be all good or sell it and try for the morgan. I the dialed back the gain to 10 0 clock and flipped the pickup switch to the middle and got most sweet fu...ing awesome clean ever! My Vox is real good but this had some nice head room and the punch and clarity was insane, CCR stuff sounded great. being out of work I would have to sell some gold and that but i love that amp! :drown

I received a new to me DAG yesterday. Mine has an ASW K70 speaker. I have not had the chance to spend any quality time with it yet but I will say right away that the cleans are shimering and amazing! Not sure about the gain tones yet.

I wasn't sold on the gain tones when mine first arrived, now have over 40 hours on it and the caps are really starting to settle in and she sounds great! There is definitely a break in time with the Jupiter caps (20 hours to break in, 100 hours to seat according to Joe) so don't worry if at first the gain tones aren't what you expected.

I've had mine for a week. I'm running it with a blue. It's magical. I found a great tip on another post. Turn the power scaling all the way up. Then set your volume where you want it for clean --> gain. I like mine right on the edge of breakup. then dial the power scale back to lower volume. That tone is so nice. I tweak the cut, treble and bass depending on what guitar I'm putting into it. And for a more Marshall classic rock type sound I'm running a Honey Bee clone pedal. Killer tones.

Spent some more time with mine and it loves a Timmy and Paisley drive! The more I play through this amp the more I like it.

Curious to hear back on this one. I just got my first vox (AC15) and just love it! Though the cab rattles some w my lp, or even a strat with 10's.

So naturally I've been intrigued by the Morgans. They sure do look sharp :aok

What's up guys.. how are the Morgans holding up to the new production voxes? More insight on the OD?

    Thanks!
