That pedal is beautiful! Even the box is awesome. I went to their Facebook page, and found that all their pedals are amazing looking.

Just watched the demo and it's at the top of my list now, along with the Alpha Haunt.

That's such a cool looking pedal! Although I'm not into the occult, I like occult/paranormal themed music and guitar gear. The Mystic "Ouija" Fuzz looks killer too but it's sold out everywhere.

Just get an Analogman SunFace/Bender and be done. Don’t get any prettier than that. Skreddy has had some beautiful enclosures over the years too.

Carcosa sounds exactly how it looks: an evil, ancient, interdimensional menace that brings overwhelming horror and despair to whoever happens to cross his path. It nails the face melting spitty gritty fuzz, but it also kills as fuzzy smooth od. It even does someyhing similar to a superfuzz. Crazy versatile. Cleans great with the volume knob and behaves great despise of placement and pickups.
In my book it is a modern classic, and yeah, it sounds exactly like True Detective season 1 (even if Tom didn't name the pedal after it)
Time is a flat circle, man. You can spend all the money in the world and go nuts chasing that perfect fuzz tone, but carcosa would always sound insanely good in any rig.
And damn, i like how it looks. Dark without being edgy. Just clasically evil. Nightmare material right here!

I agree! There's one thing, and one thing only I dislike about the Carcosa. Everything, and I mean everything is mounted on one PCB. I'd assume the same goes for all DOD pedals and the vast majority of mass produced pedals. I'm no hand-wired snob, but I see it as a problem trying to repair in the future; because if we use it long enough all the wear parts will need replaced.

    BUT
considering the low price and the fact it will last a good long while, it's a fairly minor gripe.

Damn, those are SEXY! I've been watching a couple Hell Benders on Reverb...I didn't know the rest of the line looked just as good. All of those in a row like that look amazing. Which would be the most "extreme" I wonder?

Mythos Pedals Positron Collider. It's a Ram's Head and a trap for catching ghosts. Nothing cooler in sound or vision.
