Just wondering what's out there. I love 6v6 amps right now. What are some unknown tone machines?
Victoria 5112. One 6V6, one knob, great tone.
Ampeg Reverberocket. Fairly well-known, but definitely under-appreciated.
Tone King Imperial - Not underrated, but fantastic 6V6 amp.
Marshall haze 15
There's a lot of GREAT 6v6 amps out there. But underated makes me think of the Blues Deluxe. For the price used ($400) it sounds pretty good.
Hopefully, a Savage Macht6. I've got one on the way, and have seen very little talk or clips of this amp (or any Savage's for the most part)
Bogner Mojado: 2x6V6, 1 volume, 4 Schizo voices, & 8 OHM tap. Nothing lese.
Honestly, if I had to play through a Deluxe Reverb for the rest of my life, I'd be fine. Everybody raves about it, but even that's not enough...
Greer Special 20
Jim Kelly amps
Fuchs lucky 7 version 1
Scumbag Gibson conversion
Gibson explorer tweed amp
Anything traynor or Garnett
Roccofortes 6v6 amp (can't remember name)
Fargen black bird
The Savage Macht 6 is a killer little 6V6 amp, with beautiful a Trem, and 4 knobs total (Vol, Tone, Depth, Rate). I see them sell for around $750 used.
Fender Super Champ (the original one)
Couple of oldies:
Magnatone 112, 113 or 213 -2x 6V6, Jensen 12" and Maggie vibrato
Supro Comet - SE 6V6 + 10" speaker and smoky, bluesy goodness
Alessandro Working Dog Boxer.
fender champ 600
Yup If i only had $2,000 laying around this would be the first amp i bought. I wish i could make a DRRI sound that good!
Absolutely love my Macht 12x. So much in fact, I got another 12 inch extension cab with a gold in it, and am waiting for my Macht 24 head to set on top of it.
Clean and MEAN. Trem is killer
