Been practicing my scatting. ;) Seriously, plugged the Strat into the Roland, and did one take. A few mistakes, but it was FUN! I actually like a lot of the lines once I get going a bit. (If you can listen that long) I liked some of the ideas. The tracking is rough to deal with. Ill do one with the FUCHS ASAP.

Sounds good Tag. Got a decent tempo going on there.

I have one of those Rolands. Interesting how it makes me phrase things a little different based on the texture.

BTW - They've been reshowing Burns Jazz series on PBS down here. Great stuff.

Excellent Tag! Some really nice bop lines in there. The Roland really made you phrase more vocalish. Very nice. Makes me want one!!!

Hey Tag. Did you just get the MIDI set up? Yeah it can be a bit of a challange with the tracking. I have to tell you that some of of the best lines I have ever heard you play are in this clip. Top notch man, I love a lot of it and I am jealous. :AOK :dude

    Peace bro,
    duffy

    Hey Lance and Scott,
Thanks for listening and putting up with my vocals. ;) You are both right, and have great ears. It make you phrase so much differently. The problem is, when you go back to your normal guitar sounds, the lines just do not work the same. They sound bad. The good part is all the different samples really to make you play differently, and spark some creativity.
Scott, I would say it is not worth the money. They need to get the tracking better, as it is SOO frustrating. You are playing, and everything is going fine, then it glitches, and ruins everything. I almost threw the guitar through the wall a few times, and thats why I have not played it in over a year. One they get the tracking better, it will be an unbelievable tool. The tones IMO are very good.

Sorry for all of these posts, but I can not figure out how to quote different people in one response. :( If I could, my post count would probably be 1/3 of what it is.

Same experince...until I end the midi out to another sound module and turned of the controller info. I actually gigged with before and after. Easiest was always to have the guitar mixed in 50% or more this way you didn't have to rush the beat to be on top.

    Tag, that was pretty awesome.
