Thanks! I have a Fuchs ODS 50.

I have a late 50's Bugle Boy in V1, a 60's Mullard in V2, RCA short grey in V3 and a balance GT chinese in the PI.

The gain went up noticeably with the recent addition of the mullard.

Power tubes are GT 6l6GE

I guess tone is really important for this track because for several months until now, I have always failed to get a good take on it.

I have used an eq for quite a while but I noticed that the 'new' tubes have brought up the same frequencies I was trying to boost.

They also brought up the useable OD gain in a much better way than the trimmer would.
