Multi FX pedal for 90s covers

An ex-student of mine is currently playing in a 90's cover band, they have a big selection of songs, covering a wide range of 90s rock artists. He's playing through an Engl Gigmaster 30, and loves the amp, but would like a nice variety of tones for the songs at his feet. He asked me to recommend a multi-fx pedal......

So what do you guys recommend?
