Anyone played the EBMM Majesty? The look and features really appeal to me, no local shop has one to try out however...

I just played my friend's yesterday. It was hard to stop playing, honestly! It reminded me of my old Parker Fly, with an effortlessly fast neck and light weight. I'm not in love with the looks, but there is no doubt it was a great axe.

I like JP as a player, but I find EBMM guitars to be fugly as hell.
With that in mind, I think Monstrosity would have been a better name for it.

Thanks all, maybe I'll broaden my search to find one to try out...

I have a silver one on order but I haven't had a chance to play one yet unfortunately. The specs are just to my liking though and I've heard great things about the playability so I'm not worried. Only bad things about the looks but I like the looks.

I like the looks a lot too... but then, I'm a fan of non traditional looking guitars. The pointier the better LOL

To me, aesthetically, it kinda looks like a guitar that was designed for Klingons.

    You nailed it.
But MMs are always great playing and sounding.

True dat. I played a JP6 (I think... there's a lot of MM JP models) one time that was hanging on the wall at my local GC, I think it was the Koa wood one, man it was just about the smoothest and easiest playing guitar I've ever touched; neck was very very thin though, too thin for my taste. I didn't mind the looks of that one either, 'twas a pretty classy looking guitar.

I love me some MM guitars........but not the Majesty. Ugly, IMO. I'm sure it plays fast and smooth, but I have to like how a guitar looks too.

I played one at the local shop, played well but wasn't a neck shape I love... In fact that'd be my problem with all the current EBMM guitars. If I could get a replacement neck for my Gamechanger that was wider at the nut, it'd suddenly be my #1 guitar!

I'm more interested in that Game Changer bass, despite the silly name.

I love all of the EBMM line, but I never cared for the Majesty, mostly because of the "look".. But that is just me.. To each his own..

I have been off and on the fence about the Majesty, but did briefly play one at GC and will say it was very nice, great access and smooth.

I think another guitar owns that distinction.
