Hello All, Long time lurker, first time Posting. I used to post all the time on Harmony Central's Bass Forum but got busted doing so at work a few too many times so I haven't posted anywhere for a long time.

I just wanted to rave a little about the S.U.B. basses by Sterling. I have two and love 'em. They have minor Quality Control issues as you might expect from a < $300.00 bass but you sure get your money's worth in tone, finish and playability. I recomend them to new players and seasoned vets who want an affordable fun bass.

My #1 player right now is my S.U.B. with the Mint Green finish, white pick guard and maple fretboard.

That's all for now, add your $.02 if you have or have played one.

Tried one out on Tuesday. I really liked it. I kinda missed the option to play with a neck pickup like on a Jazz Bass, but it was great!

They seem really sweet. I have a USA one and it makes for a great studio bass.

Those are serious "bang for the buck" basses.
