I'm debating getting a new neck for my strat and I'm looking into Musikraft as an option, and considering an ebony fretboard.

I was looking at their pricing for ebony boards, and it's either $30 extra for AA grade ebony or $50 extra for AAA grade ebony.

Does anyone here have any examples of Musikraft ebony fretboards either AA or AAA to show the difference? I know that really dark ebony without streaks is almost impossible, if not impossible, to find on new necks since there just isn't any more of that type of ebony available, so I'm curious to know what their ebony looks like before I pull the trigger.

For those that have a MK neck with an ebony board, can you post pics here?

    thanks!
    J.

Not sure if this is AA or AAA & the shaft wood is Mahogany. It's solid black & plays great. I won the neck in an ebay auction & got a real good deal on it. One of my favorites necks. I liked it so much, I got another hog neck w/ ebony, only from Warmoth this time.

    Musikraft: 12" radius / 6150 frets /1 11/16" nut / C shape / 22 fret.

Warmoth: I starting putting a finish on it yesterday.
