my amp is pretty loud to my parents who arent wearing earplugs, but i want to try driving my tubes for a real overdrive not a pedal one, so is there any way to mute it? ive heard of people stuffing a pillow in the back, will that work or will my pillow burn up?
its a peavey classic 30 amp if that helps any

    You'll need an attenuator.

The amp gets hot enough as it is! Dont stuff the back with anything. Tube pulling isnt an option with the C30 and wouldnt reduce the volume much anyways... so....+1 to the attenuator. Bob

I would look into an attenuator or a iso cab.

    Good luck
