MXR Carbon Copy vs Ibanez AD-9

    No modulation on the Ibanez but those such as Cuehardy what sayeth ye?

    ibanez = noiser ... and dark
    carbon copy = brighter ... and the repeats have a little dirt to them

    from memory of course ...

    different uses ... 300 ms will never be enough for me. the carbon copy is really nice. but it doesn't beat my DMM.

    163 shipped/paypalled for my carbon if anyone wants it, otherwise i'll just return it.

    yes ... but it has a volume boost ... and i don't like how it the repeats fade at all.

    but they got the modulation right on the DT.

    that dt sounds awesome! i want one! it sounds perfect for clean, sparkly & modulated delay. put a comp before it in your chain, & off you toddle! my guya tube delay is good for the warm echo i use for overdriven/lead kinda stuff, so it doesn't really bother me if this dt doesn't do that well.

    I think after many many analog delays ive come to realize im a digital guy.i like clean.i just tried a new DMM and yes love it. just didnt like the white noise when you hit a note or chord..it fades very quick. i just dont want Any noise with my delay...

    yay, that's what i hoped to hear :D
    because my ad-9 sounds too dark sometimes. but i must be patient cause the carbon copy isnt available yet in europe:puh
